We actively engage with associations that conduct research and establish codes and standards. This involvement enables us to stay in tune with the needs of the industry and focus our efforts on creating innovative, efficient, and energy-optimized solutions. EBTRON is the source of current built environment information. 

Associated Air Balance Council (AABC)

The Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) is an organization that sets standards for the Total System Balance of building environments. It is the only association that exclusively certifies independent agencies. Members receive certification, technical training, continuing education, marketing and business resources, professional networking, and industry advocacy. EBTRON is a valuable industry partner who collaborates with AABC members and engineers to share industry knowledge to create an optimal build environment. 

Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE)

The Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE) brings together professionals who work in the built environment, ensuring the optimal operation of high-rise commercial real estate, industrial plants, government facilities (classified and non-classified), campuses of higher education, and medical centers worldwide. EBTRON is an active member of this organization committed to guiding, creating, and maintaining healthier, more efficient, and sustainable indoor environments. Our joint mission is to improve facility management practices worldwide and enhance the quality of indoor environments for everyone.

Association of Smarter Homes and Buildings (ASHB)

The Association of Smarter Homes and Buildings (ASHB) aims to promote well-informed thought leadership and foster collaboration within intelligently built environments. They aim to deliver a more livable, sustainable, and efficient connected world. EBTRON serves on the Board of Directors alongside other members to achieve their shared vision of leveraging advanced technologies to accelerate the development of intelligent buildings. ASHB members are at the forefront of energy reduction and maintaining healthier facilities and are committed to achieving net-zero emissions.

American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE)

The American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) is a large association committed to improving the healthcare-built environment. EBTRON is one of over 12,000 members of ASHE who work towards enhancing the physical environment of healthcare facilities, from the initial blueprint stage to the ongoing maintenance of the facilities.

American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Airconditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE)

The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Airconditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE) conducts ongoing research to be the leading expert on technical and educational information, standards, and guidelines about the interaction between individuals and the indoor and outdoor environment, including managing HVAC&R systems in buildings and other settings. Darryl DeAngelis of EBTRON is actively involved in developing committee standards and guidelines, such as 11, 62.1, 90.1, 180, and 207. He is currently the chair on TC 7.7 Testing and Balancing and a voting member of the 62.1 Ventilation subcommittee. This involvement allows EBTRON to stay current with the industry’s needs and focus on developing efficient, energy-optimized, innovative solutions.

American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM)

The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) plays a significant role in improving our lives through innovative business services, improved performance, and instilling confidence in the products and services we rely on. It’s worth noting that Darryl DeAngelis from EBTRON is an active and voting member of ASTM. This participation allows EBTRON to remain current on industry requirements and actively pursue the development of energy-efficient, innovative solutions. Together, we improve the quality and reliability of millions of products and services that benefit society.

Building Automation and Control Network (BACnet)

The Building Automation and Control Network (BACnet) International is the global data communications standard for building automation and control networks. EBTRON is a corporate member that provides exceptional value to its customers with our design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of building automation equipment. Our BACnet products provide intelligent buildings’ data communications infrastructure and are implemented in hundreds of thousands worldwide.

IFMA, the International Facility Management Association

IFMA, the International Facility Management Association, supports facility managers through various programs and events, including certification, research, educational initiatives, and scholarships. EBTRON is an active member of this organization committed to guiding, creating, and maintaining healthier, more efficient, and sustainable indoor environments. Together, we aim to improve facility management practices worldwide and enhance the quality of indoor environments.

US Green Building Council (USGBC)

The US Green Building Council (USGBC) and its members are leading the way in promoting sustainable and environmentally responsible practices across various industries. As an active member, EBTRON is fully committed to making a meaningful impact and advancing green building initiatives to create a more sustainable future.

National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESC)

The National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESC) is a trade association that represents ESCOs and their associates. The ESCO community is focused on enhancing efficiency, sustainability, resiliency, and optimization. EBTRON collaborates with NAESCO for their leadership and representation in policy and advocacy within the industry. This organization plays a vital role in promoting economic growth and environmental sustainability for our clients, helping industries to thrive.
